The history of the company began in the early nineties when four young enthusiasts of rally began their careers, working in various areas in preparing sports cars – preparation/re-build of racing engines, body shells, suspensions and electronics. Eventually in 2003 they decided to get together and put their vast experience under one name – EAMV Motorsport. Since then the company takes active part in various spheres of motorsport — from drag racing to circuit races, from 1000 km non-stop circuit endurance race to Dakar Rally Raid, from an auto-cross to rally, from the Baltic Rally Championship to the World Rally Championship (WRC).

Since the 1st of april 2008, Carbone Lorraine Brake Pad Department belongs to the Faiveley Transport group.
